The Social Study Conference has studied a theme relevant to current social issues every summer since the inaugural school in Galway in 1953.

Through a programme of lectures, workshops, general and group discussions and of course the obligatory social discourse over a few jars, the subject is dissected, analysed, explained from all perspectives.
